Pet Massage Therapy Gentle, loving, non-invasive therapy to enhance your pet’s well being. Massage is a natural Wellness Program for your pet. Massaging relaxes muscles, invigorates circulation, and stimulates key acupressure points. Did you know that muscles and connective tissues makeup about a third of our pet’s weight? It's no surprise that an injury or imbalance of the body's soft tissues, muscles, ligaments, and tendons can have a stunning effect on a pet’s overall well-being. How I work as a Pet Massage Practitioner As your pet Practitioner, I strongly believe in the education of the canine and feline anatomy. It is the map which guides me to the location of muscles and direction of muscle fibers. This information is crucial for tailoring the most effective massage for your pet. Working as a team, my hands become sensing devices while your pet guides me to areas in need. By moving his or her body under my hands I provide a touch to balance, restore, soothe and energize your pet. Massage is not petting! This teamwork makes each pet massage different and unique. In our massage session we are focused and I always have the highest intention of improving your pet’s overall health and wellness. Which pet can benefit from massage? Puppies and Kittens: Helps them accept handling by vets, groomers, or strangers; improves socialization and trust; and eases tension of new growth stages. Adult Dogs and Cats: Maintains optimum wellness; slows developing problems of aging; detects early changes that may signal injury or disease. Senior Dogs and Cats: Helps maintain mobility; stimulate circulation and reduce pain. Dogs and Cats: Shy or recently adopted pets; recovery from injury or undergoing post surgery rehabilitation; working dogs; pets in performance events. How Pet Massage Therapy helps
